...Right, so, I've been trying different things with layouts and the like of late to organize the text in any particular strip better. Sticky Floors has always been wordy, and I've always tried my best to cram all of that wordy-ness onto an 8.5x11 sheet of printer paper. ;P Think it looks good - what do you think? =D
Karen and I are driving up to Northwest Florida this weekend to visit my folks for an early-ish X-Mas bash... And then getting back to Orlando just in time to get this show on the road with movers and all... To get us up to Virginia just in time for the holidays. It's gonna' be mucho hectic.
Not too much information to spill at the moment... I'll be hitting up Colombus, OH, for Ohayocon in early January... And I'm in the process of planning my prelim convention schedule for the first quarter of 2008 right now, too. More news when I got news to share. Take it easy, folks!
…I stayed up until, like, five in the morning last night watching “A Shot at Love, with Tila Tequila” – MTV’s latest and greatest in train-wreck television. It’s no “Rock of Love, with Bret Michaels,” but it’s possibly pretty trashier – lesbian cat fights, tiny Asian bisexuals, and this altogether stalker-ish quality of “I friended her on MySpace – we’re meant to be together!” …Plus, I think I’m the only person on the planet that doesn’t find Tila attractive at all. …That said, I’m rooting for Dani – our “Is that a boy?” lesbian. Do it, Dani.
So yeah, I’ve been busy of late. It’s December, and I’m in the midst of wrapping up my second issue of a particular comic book I am really stoked to tell you guys about but I’m not sure yet if I can or not. XP It’s an honest-to-goodness monthly, printed-on-dead-trees comic book, though, and as soon as I’m free to say so you can sure as hell bet I’ll be pimping that comic harder than I would any prostitute. ;P
I’m also moving. Again. To Northern Virginia. (I like to call it “Verj-eye-nuh.”) Not sure yet particularly when this December – all I know is I’m paying two rents right now. One here in Florida, the other on a spacious and renovated two-bedroom abode. I’m psyched for the second bedroom – for the first time in my career I’ll have an office! =D …Which is a good thing, as 2008 is lookin’ particularly busier than 2007. ;3
