Ugh. So, right, I'm back from Dallas' Anime Fest - long, lo-o-o-ong weekend. A full recap (with links) will come later on in the week once I get back into the swing of things. Right now I'm fighting off con-flu... Again. XP
…So a couple nights ago, driving home in the wee hours, my girlfriend and I realized we live just a couple blocks from one of those really shady lookin’, 24-hour corner porn-stores. You know… The “Mom and Pop” sort o’ porn shop. ;P Nice li’l place – for giggles, they keep a lot of children’s animated movies up front – but expensive as hell. Granted, my porn period was well over a decade ago (at the tender age of ten), and I got it free on cable. (Not scrambled – I’m not that old.) …But, damn. Expensive.
…Anyway. So since that lead-in probably missed the mark – I moved! =D To sunny, central Florida. Hence the lack of update-age in the last month, post Otakon. And besides that, it wasn’t entirely my fault, anyway! =P We’ve also been moving servers (for awhile) – and only recently are we fully ready and good-to-go! Which means – finally – some brand-spankin’-new updates for you guys!
…Or at least an updates now, and then the real start in September. XP My bad. See, I’ll be at Dallas’ Anime Fest this weekend, August 31 – September 3. Which means I’ll miss this week’s Saturday update. Sorry, guys. ^_^;; Hope to be seein’ some of ya’ at the convention, though! And for those that need at least an artwork fix (because God forbid I ever update my Deviant Art page like I should)…
I recently started up – as in, a couple days ago – one of those online art blogs! I’ve been meaning to end my streak of lazy-assing all my art-postage online. XD One of my favorite comic artists, Mike Wieringo, used to keep a daily art blog, too. And though this is by no means a daily thing, I am’a’gonna’ try and see that it gets some love – be it doodles or otherwise – at least every two-to-three days. =)
Oh. And seriously, this strip is all true. =P Dave and I – well, especially Dave – get the “Are you Bleedman!?” question all the time at conventions. And seriously, at one con some kid actually said that I “wasn’t Filipino enough to be Bleedman.” …Yeah. Classy. XD
