Howdy, guys! =D So I’ll be moving to Orlando, FL, come the end of this summer, right? I’m really excited about it, and am in the process of packing boxes right NOW, even! ^_^ But I’ve found that I’ve… been sitting on a lot of junk, actually. ^^; Comics, toys, video games – stuff I haven’t seen in close to a decade, and I’ll be packing it all away to take with me so that it can all sit in a box for another decade. =P
The video games, though – well, see, I’m not really much of a gamer. So I’m looking to part ways with some of these suckers. ;) But instead of just garage-selling my wares online, I wanted to do a li’l something extra special – and throw in some original artwork, just for you, into the mix! =) See, you buy the game, you get the original sketch of a character from that game for free! Easy as that. =D
I’m not really familiar with what’s fair pricing for used games these days, so my policy is first come, first served, or the best reasonable offer. If you see anything that catches your eye, please drop me a line at herms85@gmail.com! =D
This time we’ve got 4 PS2 titles – all in excellent condition, barely ever played in fact! Comes with all original packaging, instruction manuals, etc. They are…
Anime Boston, on the other hand, was delightful. =D By Sunday morning, Will and I were kickin’ back, shooting the breeze, and creaming ourselves over just how great Anime Boston was. “How great?” you might ask? Really great. And really fun, too – which is the most important. Aside from some slight hiccups early on (I thought I’d scheduled an 8-in-the-evening flight, when instead I’d gotten an 8-in-the-morning one – putting me in a whole seven hours ahead of Dave… I promptly built a fort with my bags and napped/worked at the Boston airport for the rest of the day.), the con went amazingly well. Hell, I got fan art, which filled my heart with joy and my pants with an erection. =D
Dave and I commuted with Shawn to-and-from his place during the con – Shawn and his girlfriend are, by the by, the most nicest of people you ever will meet. Really awesome hanging out with them all weekend! =D This was a new and awesome experience for me – I’m used to the southern convention circuit (Texas in particular), where convention Alleys will run a full 24 hours. =O To get to pack it in every night and hang out and enjoy some good dinner (There’s a place called Fire-and-Ice there in downtown Boston – it’s hip and heavenly.)... It definitely made the con.
Speaking of hanging out, Kilika – who also happens to be one of the nicest people on the planet, too (Gee, you’d think all webcomic people are nice… Too bad Dave’s a douche. ;P) – was also representing at A-Boston. We didn’t get to hang too much ‘sides Taxi-rides, though I hear he had some cosplayers this con! =D Hopefully the next con, man. Hopefully.
A-Boston wrapped up and I had about a week’s downtime before Matsuri with Ian… As if to cosmically balance the success and merriment of Boston, however, it was no bueno. =( Amelie and I at least had some fun sketch-fighting going back-and-forth. ;P And now I’ve got a month off of conventions, and a month worth of Sticky Floors updates! =D
Speaking of cons, my next is A-Kon in Dallas, TX, June 1-3. Davey will be there too, as well as Scotty, Trunks, and Amelie. And lots of other people. Lots of them. It’s a big con. =3
