True story: Back in September/October of last year, I started to get alot of spam e-Mail. Alot. This was semi-expected, since that li'l "E-Mail Herms" link that'll pop up here-and-there on Snafu re-directs all e-Mail I get at Snafu to my personal e-Mail inbox... And also re-directs all uber-spam I get at Snafu to said personal e-Mail, as well. XP So basically, my spam count went from about 12 or so canned e-Mails per week... To about 1,000. =O
Google Mail is the shit, though, and most of this cluster-fuck of spaminess is filtered out automatically. But a few choice e-Mails always made it through. (There's a joke about sperm, sex, and pregnancy in there, somewhere... But I got nothin' this early in the morning. =P) One recurring e-Mail was about Cialis.
I'm not new to getting those e-Mails - honestly, I'm always amazed that, at the least, they got it right this time. (Oh, to be 12 again and getting "Do you want bigger boobs?" e-Mails. ^^) But still - when you're spam intake goes from an average 10 to 1,000, you're gonna' get bitchy. And oh, did I rant.
And my friends - being that they're my friends - started e-Mailing me about Cialis, too. Copy/paste and all that jazz. Awesome. =P I love you guys.
...I also used to get spam that was in the form of a short-story - a murder-mystery like "Who killed rich Uncle Jebediah?" or some crap. I even got one asking me if I was concerned about the strength of my ejaculation. Seriously. How do you even measure that??
By the way, for more me-in-comic-form, you should totally read the sexay TWATS (aka The Wild Adventures of Trunks and Soto).
Holy Hannah-Barbara! …So, it’s been awhile since I last wrote a news-post. My bad. I’ve been hopping all over the place the last two months – from Ohio (for Ohayocon), to Virginia to Houston to Austin (for IkkiCon), back to Florida then up to Virginia again and to Washington, DC (for KatsuCon )… And, for those of you stalking me, I am currently back in Virginia, and will be until the first week of March. =)
A lot has been happening in the last couple months. Ohayocon was all kinds of awesome – I really hadn’t prepped anything Sticky Floors for the 2007 convention year, yet… But practically every-other-person that came to the table recognized us as the “Sticky-peeps-from-Snafu” based purely on, well, everything on the table that wasn’t Sticky Floors. ^^;; So, ego-stroked, I pretty much spent the weekend touching myself inappropriately under the table. Amelie was there – she’ll testify to it. ;P (Actually, I think she was too busy drawing her boy-on-boy pr0ns. =P)
After spending a couple weeks in Houston, Karen and I hit up IkkiCon in Austin, TX. Always a good time is to be had in TX… Usually. Ikki was rather over-booked, all things considered. And, of course, when you’ve got that many kids crammed in like sardines – no one eating right, sleeping right – all it takes is one li’l fucktard to bring the flu or something and spread it like the plague. >=/ Totally got sick at Ikki – but it thankfully waited until the end of Sunday before I was ready to pass out from fever. XP Always a pleasure to hang out with theTexasconposse. And even got to meet and hang and do Iron Artist with a few TX con veterans that I otherwise hadn’t hanged with before. Good times.
(Side note: Adult Iron Artist was fucking awesome. Seriously. “Hello Kitty butt-plug.” “Teletubbies, bondage, and the baby Jesus.” Seriously, I can’t make this shit up. It was THAT awesome. =D)
KatsuCon was the real belle-of-the-ball of the last few cons, though. =3 It was Dave’s and my real first experience working a con together. (We had kinda’ done it back in September at Anime Fest, but not REALLY. =P) Ran into a lot of the peeps we’d met at Anime USA. Especially cool to hang out with Brian (”I love you Brian!!”) – who I touched in naughty places throughout the weekend – and Kilika, again. Great con - Davey’s got a much more detailed report for you to enjoy. =) Great to meet everyone that popped by the table at the con! Seriously wish I was able to sit down and write a real report, with the proper linkage, but I’m keeping pretty busy of-late with NEW Sticky Floors comics, Anime Matsuri, and other work. Hope ya’ dig!
