Yeah, I didn’t know what in the hell a “Shadow Puppet Show” was, either, when Jesse first gave this script to me. But I figured Jes knew what he was talking about. I eventually got it – I mean, everything you need to know is right there. “Shadow Puppets” with your fingers. “You douche.”
Think about it.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone else call doing that a “Shadow Puppet Show,” though...
In other news: Picked up Dirge of Cerberus. I suck at it – I’m outta’ money and outta’ ammo, and totally getting my ass kicked. But man, I’m fan-boying on it hard. It’s not a great game – honestly, I can’t tell if it’s even a good game. I’m blinded by FF7 love and the fact that my overall incompetence with any game present or future (but not past – I’m good with old-school) makes me a lousy candidate to review active media. But, as said, fan-boying.
I don’t care how many FF7 sequels/prequels/tie-ins they make – they can start really crapping this stuff out for all I care. I’ll still love it/eat-it-up/take-it-up-the-ass. FF7 had me by the balls when I was a kid, I’m just psyched that there’s more. (Albeit now it’s more soft-hand. =P)
...Heh. Yeah, not much else to say. As Dave mentioned in his update, we’ll be at Anime Fest in Dallas, TX, this Labor Day weekend (that’s September 1st to 4th – it’s a four-day con).
Dave and I will both have tables in the Artist Alley (close together, I do believe), and I think Dave is doing some panels and stuff. So if you’re in the area, drop on by!
